Common Swift.

Habitat
Bracken covered slopes on heathland, rough grassland and open woodland.
Foodplant
Bracken roots are the main foodplant but probably feeds on roots of grasses and herbs.
Lifestage data
Overwinters twice as a larva then pupates underground. Larva June-May.
